When is check in & check out?
Check in is at 4 pm and check out is at 12 pm daily. Early check in and late check out depends on room availability and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please contact the Wildwood Lodge Clive’s front desk at 1-800-728-1223 on the day of arrival to request an early check in or a late check out if needed.
What is the cancellation policy?
All reservations must be cancelled by 6 PM on the day of arrival to receive a full refund. If you booked through a third party like Expedia, or another booking site, you also must adhere to their individual cancellation policies.
Does the hotel provide free wifi?
The Wildwood Lodge provides free WIFI for all of our guests. To login, select “Wildwood Guest WiFi” and agree to the terms and conditions.
Do I have to pay for parking?
All parking in the Wildwood Lodge lot is complimentary with your stay. You will, however, need to register your vehicle at the front desk upon check in to ensure that all vehicles in the lot are those of our guests.
What is the smoking policy?
The Wildwood Lodge is a non-smoking hotel – this includes vaping and e-cigarettes. If you wish to smoke, there are designated smoking areas and ash trays on each side of the hotel. If you, or one of your guests, smoke in the hotel, your credit card will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.
I'm traveling with valuables, are there safety deposit boxes at the property?
If you have any possessions that you would like locked up during your stay, the front desk offers safety deposit boxes. The Wildwood Lodge is not responsible for lost or stolen articles not placed in our safety deposit box.
How can I contact the front desk?
We encourage all of our guests to contact the front desk if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable. Our front desk is staffed 24 hours per day to assist you with any special needs, questions or concerns. If you’re trying to contact the front desk from your room, simply press “0” on your in-room phone and it will connect you to one of our team members. If you are off-site and wish to speak to our front desk representative, please dial 1-800-728-1223.
Does the Wildwood supply cribs & rollaway beds?
The Wildwood Lodge offers a limited number of cribs and rollaway beds for our guests’ convenience. Please contact the front desk at 1-888-506-2005 (or Dial “0” on your in-room phone) if you wish to use a crib at no charge or a rollaway bed for $10 per night.
Are rooms equipped with a fridge and a microwave?
All rooms at the Wildwood Lodge are equipped with a mini fridge. Suites are equipped with both a microwave and mini fridge.
What are the hours of the swimming pool?
Our swimming pool and whirlpool are located on the main level of the hotel off of the corridor across from the front desk. No lifeguard is on duty so all children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Towels for swimming are provided and can be found in the canoe on the far wall as well as on the tables throughout the pool area. Beverages are permitted in the pool area as long as they are in plastic bottles or containers. Glass bottles or containers are not allowed at any time. The last hour of each night is adult swim, reserved for guests aged 21 years and older. Only guests are allowed in the pool area – no outside visitors.

Does the Wildwood Lodge have a fitness center?
Yes! Our fitness center is located on the first level of the hotel in the pool area and is open daily from 7AM – 10:30PM. If you wish to access the fitness center outside of these hours, please stop at the front desk for a key. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to use the fitness center.
Do you accept pets?
The Wildwood Lodge is a dog friendly hotel and we accept all dogs regardless of breed or weight. If you choose to travel with your dog at Wildwood, it is an additional $20 fee per dog, per night and we have a maximum of two (2) dogs per room policy. If you plan on traveling to the Wildwood Lodge with a dog, please call us ahead of time so we may accommodate you on our dog-friendly floor. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area or in any of our public spaces. Dogs that are disruptive to other hotel guests may be asked to leave. Disruptive behavior includes incessant barking, aggressive behavior, etc. The reservation holder will be held responsible for any excessive damage incurred during your stay.
Dogs are not allowed in suites. If you are traveling with a dog and book a suite with a third party booking site (TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc.), you will be charged $30 per dog, per night.
Our K-9 guests will enjoy a treat upon check in and there are doggy bags available at the front desk per request. We invite you to take a look at a list of other dog-friendly establishments in Clive that you can visit while you stay with us!
Do you offer dry cleaning & laundry services?
Same-day dry cleaning is available Monday – Friday, courtesy of Victoria’s Dry Cleaning. Items brought to the front desk by 8 am will be delivered to your room by 7 pm on the same day.
A coin operated laundry (one washer, one dryer) is located on the first floor east of the lobby and costs $2.00 each. Open 24 hours. The front desk also has laundry detergent and fabric softener available for purchase at $2.00 for each.
I forgot something - What amenities does the hotel offer?
We have the following products and amenities available free of charge for you at the front desk:

How often does housekeeping clean my room?
Housekeeping is done daily for our guests. If you choose to pass on our housekeeping services, please set your “Do Not Disturb” door hanger on the outside of your door. If you are staying for an extended period of time, it is the Wildwood Lodge’s policy to check and clean rooms every three days. Please contact the front desk if at any time during your stay you need additional blankets, pillows, soap, hangers, linens, or towels.
What are the in-room accessibility features?
All televisions are equipped with a closed captioned encoding device for the hearing impaired. The front desk also offers a kit that includes a TDD telephone, printer and other notification devices. Handicap accessible rooms are also available upon request.

Are there any on-site dining options?
While we do not have a restaurant on-site, we are situated next to five restaurants, a McDonalds and a Kentucky Fried Chicken.
There are also ice and soda machines on each floor near the elevator. Snack machines are located near the first floor elevator.
